    Anybody know anything about a "Project Fog/Project Mist?"

    Hiya, everybody. So after completing Death Stranding (don't worry, this isn't another theory about DS and SH being connected) I was digging into what people have found and what theories people have made the game. I ended up coming across someone mentioning something called "Project Fog" on Konami's Wikipedia page of their list of games.

    I looked into it, and the title is there. Here's a link to the article if you're interested, under 2021. I don't think this is anything, but the entry hasn't been removed after 2 months and multiple edits. It was first added as "Project Mist: A Silent Hill Story (working title)" back in September, before being changed to Project Fog, kanji and all. Anybody got any info on this? I can't dig up anything myself except a post on /r/konami.

    Like I said though, I doubt it's anything. The account who added the title's only edits are a few changes to that page in a week's timespan, which makes me think it's nonexistant. That said, I'd like to believe it could be something, or at least discuss it. Thanks :)

    Best version of pt remake?

    Hello is there is a list or can we get a list together of silent hill fan remakes ?

    I was wondering which one is best or which ones have you played and how do they compare to the original?

    I've played....dreams demo and pt by Sony.

    I'm aware of Unreal PT and PT Emulation.

    Ate there others and how are these two?

    I hate to bring this up again, but seriously, the entire aim of all the Silent Hill games was for the Cult to Strand Death in the realm of life and push life to a deathless purgatory to be ruled upon. Death Stranding is Conclusively Silent Hills.

    Let's Break down Silent Hill into Generalities, but we're going to focus on 4 because it arguably had the most personalized and relevant antagonist:

    -Silent Hill is a plane of reality. A Purgatory, if you will.

    -In the Silent Hill games, those who are sent to Silent Hill start making connections. They are either survivors, or cultists. Either they are there only to escape, or, they are there to worship the Gods of Silent Hill, and connecting to others is the only possible thing that can save them. However, survivors connecting to the wrong people can give the cult power to make their aim a reality. If they refuse to take sides at all, well, they most likely die or get killed off.

    -The Cultists only aim is to connect the world of death with that of life to bring more souls to Silent Hill to rule over them. In a way this makes both life and death obsolete- Purgatory would be the new "main" existence.

    -Those who are connected or bonded with the Cult can bring beings from "the other side" over. Walter (a character we're about to go over) and Higgs can both do this. Homo Demens in general do this, and Walter is absolutely a Homo Demen by definition.

    -In Silent Hill 4, all of that goes to the wayside and the plot gets more Personal. We're given a true antagonist in the form of a boy named Walter.

    -Walter has a super fucked up childhood but a strange bond with his apartment: he uses it as a vessel to speak with spirits of the dead and beings on the other side. He grows older, starts killing people and carving the number of which victim number they are into the forehead.

    -Walter kills himself and notches a number into his own forehead. The police consider him just another crazy and close investigations.

    -More victims begin to appear in the real world, each with a number notched in their forehead.

    -Walter uses his connection with his Apartment and the Complex to transcend death and finish his ritual.

    -The ritual is to strand the spirit of his Apartment, "his true mother" (who is just a death-god from silent hill) here in the real world so they can be together. Again, this would make it so Death would destroy Life and Life would have nowhere to go except for Purgatory.

    -Walter has a Spirit form (His beached form, a child) and an adult form (The form he died as)

    TL;DR- Death Stranding takes place in a world where death got stranded in the realm of life and forced all of life into the realm of purgatory. That is the exact aim of the Silent Hill cult through the entire Silent Hill saga, and yes, I've finished Death Stranding, P.T., and most of the Silent Hill games. Hack a MULE postbox and please tell me that isn't the Mark of Samael.
