    I was only 13 when Silent Hill 2 came out. Everything was so much better back then, so much simpler. Boy, do I miss these times.

    Pretty much as the title says really - I've been looking for the asset rips from PT (models and textures in particular) but after trawling the internet for days literally every link appears to be dead and I can't find any useful resources whatsoever. Any of you guys know where I can find them? I'd be immensely grateful.

    Song of Horror is very reminiscent of Silent Hill and comes to consoles October 29th. Of all games that try to emulate the vibe of late 90s/early 2000s horror, this has undoubtedly come the closest imo.

    So i was thinking of digging up the old copy of Silent Hill 2 for the PC and noticed that there's a fan-made patch(?) for the game called "Enhanced Edition". So... does anybody have any experience with this version? Does it make the game better, or will i be better off just going vanilla?

    The creepiest sounds in silent hill? (Overall series)

    My votes:

    Silent hill 1 - the gray child monsters. Every sound they make, I hate it.

    Silent hill 1 - Among the rooms in Nowhere, sometimes there's this unholy high pitched sound that drones on. Absolutely the creepiest sound I've heard in this game.

    Silent hill 2 - the voices heard among the prison cells in the prison complex. Not quite as creepy as the above votes but still not pleasant to hear when you're looking for stuff in the prison cells.
