    So, I know what the liquid is for, and its tie to the greater lore, but as someone that came into the game after internet guides were more widely available, how where you supposed to know what the liquid was for? I don't recall anything mentioning its effect, or hinting at its use. The only thing I can recall is the standard "Good" ending, where you can see what the second vial does before the final battle, but that doesn't really hint that you should have used the liquid earlier on Cybil.

    In that same regard, while the aglaophotis is a bit better explained in Silent Hill 3, was there any indication other than a vague item description that it was hidden in the locket? At that point in the game, I just checked everything I had to see if I could use it, and lucked out.

    Stuff like this gets lost in the walkthrough age, where what to do is more important than why you were supposed to already know to do that. These two just always bugged me.

    I can't seem to find a English dubbed version anywhere.

    If it wasn't English dubbed, why not? Why wasn't this scene localised? Usually with official localisations, everything is localised. Seems weird that they would leave parts out.

    Is there any way to play Silent Hill 2 and 3 on Xbox besides the HD Collection or am I shit out of luck?

    I have beat the first Silent Hill on my PS Vita, and I loved it. For a long time though, I have been unable to play Silent Hill 2 and 3. I don't own a PS2 or a PC, and I do not have the money to buy either. I have an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One. I could get the HD Collection, but that seems to be notorious for terrible graphical glitches and audio errors, and I would really like to avoid that.

    I know there is an Xbox version of Silent Hill 2, so I figured that maybe I could play that on my Xbox 360, but I have heard that it can be buggy on the 360. Perhaps one of you can confirm?

    It sucks that these games are not really readily available on modern consoles without having to settle for shitty downgraded versions, but I would really like to experience these games eventually. I feel like they are some of the essentials for survival horror fans.

    Silent hill 1 glitch: flashing colors

    I'm playing the original silent hill on my ps2 slim and I'm experiencing a very annoying glitch. Anytime I'm around enemies the entire screen will turn either purple or green for a single frame and then return to normal. It seems to happen a random moments during enemy encounters. Does anyone know what might cause this to happen?

    Changing which monitor the game is on with SH2 Enhanced Edition

    Hey shot in the dark here, anyone know how to choose which monitor the game opens up on with the Enhanced Edition? It's opening up on the wrong monitor and I don't know how to fix it. I don't want it to open on my primary monitor if that helps.

    I have looked on the website but there is no info about that there. I'm also not having any luck starting the game in Windowed mode. I've changed the data in the ini file but the game still opens fullscreen, and changing the resolution doesn't do anything.
