    Playing silent hill 2 on pc?

    I have heard about people being able to play silent hills 2 on pc. As someone who has never played it, i am interested, but dont know any safe ways to get it. Can anyone help me get it and set it up on a computer?

    Question about Silent Hill town

    Never played this saga before, but I picked up a ps2 a while ago. I've finished the first 3 games and I'm halfway through 4 (excellent games, I love them) and I have a question. Let's talk about Silent hill 2 for example. After the canon ending of SH1, what is the status of the town? I mean, is it a normal city with people living in it? When James go to Silent Hill and finds a town surrounded by fog... is that the real, actual town? Or the Fog World is like a separate, parallel universe/setting that do not take place in the real world? Hope I made myself clear!

    So I bought SH1,2,3 and just beat 2 so I wanted to play 1 before 3 but I forgot you need a PS1 memory card to save PS1 games on PS2 so I'd have to wait atleast a week for one to come from eBay or I could just emulate it and play SH3 sooner. Just wondering if it's worth it to emulate or not

    It makes me sad that I must declare to you degenerate pleb wranglers that this is probably the least cerebral subreddit I've ever seen in my life. 80 upvotes for grainy pictures of fog? I should invest in a dry ice machine like some kind of Scrooby Doo villain, I'll mine karma for years and sell the account to Chinese intelligence agencies for big profit, at the expense of you chumps.

    Can you two-digit IQ scum even fathom the symbolism in these games? Heh, why even ask, of course not. Only the most intelligent gamers can meticulously disweave the iconology of Pyramid Head, otherwise he wouldn't have a Pyramid Head, it's for the apex of big brains. I used to play these games as a kid, unfortunately we had to dispose of all the CRT screens in the house because the synaptic activity in my prefrontal cortex interferes with the static field and triggered bouts of what the doctor called 'fod crackle', sadly this spooked my parents, and I had to stay off school for an entire week while the local pastor exorcised me (my parents are just uncultured, luckily this was inconsequential, I was already 3 years ahead with my studies). It was kinda rad I guess, even if I pulled my sternocleidomastoid trying to 180 my head like an owl. Nowadays, if I sneeze too hard I run the risk of generating an EMP that zeroes the entire planet, and, quite understandably, the local pentecosts think me an entity of death.

    Anyway, I kept it quite curt and concise here since you guys have the attention span of a carp in a microwave, but I think I've gotten my point across. Have fun staying baffled, you'll be that way til you're dead. In the meantime, I'll be working on my dissertation on procuring energy from the zero-point field. Nice talking to you pea brains.
