    What's this Shattered Memories follow-up business about?

    Since Shattered Memories seemed like a complete standalone game to me, I think to a lot of others and it didn't really feel like it was a part of the original series, let alone a reimagining of the first game.

    What do you think this 'follow up' is going to be like? Is it like SH3 but in the SH:SM universe?

    I am in the school but I don't have the shotgun and I don't know how to go and get it from where I'm at... Did I miss it or does the shotgun come later? I checked the wiki and it's next to an elevator but I don't remember any elevators I'm also having trouble even GETTING split head to open his stupid mouth so even if I was going to do this fight without the shotgun I'd still be swimming up stream... If you could either help me A. Get from dark team version of school to the shotgun, or B. Help me figure out why his mouth won't open, that'd be great. I should add I'm on ps3 digital copy not a disc version, if the ps3 version is just garbage then I'd appreciate that kind of info too

    Shattered Memories follow up?

    Apparently SHSM's head writer, Sam Barlow, has taken an interest in making a follow up to Climax's 2009 reimagining of the first games story. Quoting him on twitter:

    "TFW an interviewer asks what you'd do to make a Shattered Memories follow-up today but you can't tell them because you're currently pitching that thing" (https://twitter.com/mrsambarlow/status/1313936960193429505?s=19)

    My personal feelings - I think SHSM was the best of the post TS games. It's not perfect, a little repetitive and the twist ending was very predictable. However I feel that it's the most interesting venture away from KCET's hands and might be the only one I'd say leaves a lot of room for a follow up considering it's AU nature. I'd be at least curious about how they'd go about reimagining the other mainline (1-4) games. Id be far more interested in TS coming back to make a SH5 but you could do worse here.
