    Hi so after playing Re2 remake I have fallen in love with survival horror games

    and now want to play Silent Hill for the first time as in the old days I was not old enough to play

    now I'm 23 ready to play and don't worry about systems I have ps1 ps2 ps3 PSP PS vita and ps4

    so whatever SH you recommend me I'm ready

    so what Silent Hill do I play first for the first time and also get the full experience that even includes movies books or comics

    I'm a huge Silent Hill fan but I feel an urge to play the HD remaster even though I know it's terrible. If I'm gonna play SH2 HD, I'm going to plat it no matter what. So is there anything I should know before I jump into the painful dumpster fire known as the HD Collection? Any tips or guides?

    Just Finished My First Silent Hill Game

    So I finished Silent Hill 2 a couple days ago. I gotta say the game is near a perfect masterpiece. The symbolism and all the elements of the story connect together well. Though some people might not understand the story their first playthrough, I understood it and all the symbolism. I liked the way the transition between the real world and "otherworld" is blurred, I felt it was more interesting then the first game. I got the leave ending, and after watching the other endings, I felt it was the most impactful and the best for bringing conclusion to the story. And also because I like bittersweet endings.

    Spolier: I was super happy when I saw James leaving Silent Hill. Even though what he did was horrible, I think he deserved a second chance at life.

    Truth be told, I didn't play this on my PS2 when it was released as I didn't want to play a "reimagining" of the original Silent Hill, I wanted a new game with a new story. So, finally, after all these years I'll be starting my first adventure into Shattered Memories.

    Can anyone find that old fake Silent Hill movie trailer? I think its from 2004.

    Back in the early 2000's, i think after Silent Hill 2 was released, there was this fake trailer that hit the internet and most people actually believed that it was a real Silent Hill movie trailer, also because this was before the actual movie was even announced.

     

    What i remember from the trailer:

    1- Four basic looking people in their mid 20's walking around a town

    2- A woman (on the stairs i think?) screaming "ACCEEEPPTTT IIIITTT!!!!!!!!" like a crazy woman

    3- And they were also standing around a hole in the ground and one guy asked "Wanna jump?" and then one guy said "Hell yeah!" all excited to jump.

    4- Also there was this one guy smoking and he said "Welcome to Silent Hill..."

     

    I've been trying to find this fake trailer for a long long time and i can't find it.

    Can anyone help?

    My only playthrough of a silent hill game has been 2 on the hd collection and after discovering how flawed that release is Ive been wanting to play through 2 and 3 the proper way. Problem is I dont own a ps2 so the next best step would be on my pc but, would it be better to just emulate the games or to find a copy on pc? Any help is greatly appreciated:)
