- I drew Lisa dying! It’s definitely not my best work and I’m kinda nervous posting this but I love silent hill so here :)
- Resident Evil 3 has a Silent Hill-inspired reshade mod that cranks the fog up. Looks like a nice mash-up, though it has issues.

- Thoughts on SH4
- Friendly recommendation/request from an avid Silent Hill fan
- Quarantine has been forcing me to be inventive with how I spend my time so I made this really stupid edit. It just gets dumber and dumber as it goes on but the outro might be my greatest work of art. Hope you all enjoy!

- What happened to Angela Orosco in Silent Hill 2?
- Unpopular opinion!

What exactly happened Harry in SH3? Posted: 18 Apr 2020 04:49 PM PDT In a lot of notes, Harry and Heather had constantly been moving because the Order had been searching for them. So I'm pretty sure Harry had always been on the alert for anything strange or Silent Hill-ish going on, and he already had experience with Silent Hill. Then it turns out the missionary killed him. I would assume that he'd always have a radio handy so he can hear it go haywire if a monster was for some reason nearby. Was he just ambushed? Killed in his sleep? You would think he wouldn't have gone out so easily considering what he went through in SH1. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Apr 2020 06:11 PM PDT So I'm still working on my SH3 play through but after this there's only one more before I'm probably not gonna be playing any more SH games. I'm gonna get four no matter what so I can form my own opinion, but I know it's divisive for fans, so what do you think about four? No spoilers please. [link] [comments]
Friendly recommendation/request from an avid Silent Hill fan Posted: 18 Apr 2020 07:28 PM PDT TL;DR: I don't have a degree in computers but I want to be able to play classic silent hill titles on my pc. Video guide please? I would just like to start and say that this is not a rant but a humble request from me, on behalf of fellow fans of the franchise, who would love a real and understandable opportunity to play Silent Hill on their pcs. So in that spirit and that in mind, I proceed :) So I've seen several posts every now and then about people managing to download classic Silent Hill titles (namely 2 and 3, but ive seen some where people have been able to play The Room and emulate 1) and play on their PC. In the comments section, several users would ask about how they too may get to enjoy these absolute gems onto their PC, and they are only met with replies along the lines of "Got to [obscure website X] and download the files and extract and get this program and take the widgets and convert them into whosy-whatsies. Oh, and then download the enhanced director's cuts." I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this: "I don't know what you are taking about, and its kind of fishy/scary to go to some of the sites you are recommending." Personally, I have never pirated or downloaded a game that was not first purchased on Steam. But im not going to pay $200+ for a disc version of a masterpeice that other people can get for nothing. I've searched on youtube for video guides, and I've seen is either comparisons between vanilla and Enhanced versions of the pc games or "guides" with abysmal like-to-dislike ratios. From my experience this is a very kind, empathetic and intelligent gaming sub reddit and I'm sure many of those who make the replies i mentioned above mean well. But could someone perhaps create some sort of easy to follow video guide telling us how we could come to enjoy silent hill on pc? It could even be pinned for any new comers to the series whose only recourse to playing the classic titles is getting the HD Collection or downloading them onto their pcs. [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Apr 2020 08:34 AM PDT We all know that sh2 is super easy on normal, but the hard difficulty has its own problem (its hard to get the Maria ending, boss with a lot of health). So is there a way to make the normal difficulty better? Maybe a mod or not using some weapons or items? What are your suggestions? [link] [comments]
Silent Hill downpour disconnects me from Xbox live. Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:28 AM PDT So I recently obtained Silent Hill: Downpour for Xbox 360 so I can play it on Xbox one. However, whenever I go into the game, it disconnects my 360 profile from the Xbox live services and because of that won't let me play the game. Has anyone gone through this sort of problem and, if so, what is the fix? [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Apr 2020 08:17 AM PDT I just played through the HD remake and after a thorough playthrough, I do not believe it is as bad as people claim it is. I think a lot of people wanna just takes shots at the remake because it's not the original and I get it. I dont believe it is the travesty everyone believes it to be though. Yeah, i do enjoy the original better and still own them. The only reason I dont play them anymore is I cannot find the power cable for my ps2. I will being it to a store called dkoldies in Pennsylvania to fix it once this coronavirus shit is over but I really dont think the hd remake is all that bad. This is coming from a die hard fan, somuch so, I have a huge pyramid head tattoo on my arm. [link] [comments] |
