    I've just completed silent hill 3, and through the entire game a question continously came to my mind.... Where is everybody? Are they all projected as monsters in Heather's head? Why are Douglas, Vincent and Claudia the only ones you see (outside from Leonard since he became a monster through silent hill's power)?

    Can anyone link me a video of silent hill's lore that answers these questions?

    Help me find a version of 'Promise'

    The vocalists are not singing English. I would guess Eastern European. The vocals sing the melody of I think female and male vocalist, androgynous male, not baritone. They're singing the lead guitar melody of the song. The music video I think is just scenes from the CGI intro (or at least it's dominated by it). It starts with or just a few seconds later has the scene of James carrying Maria. Oh, and they start with the chorus?

    Very interesting and good version.

    Maybe a strange request but I can't find it.

    Alright so (and I know it’s weird that feel the need to make a post here but whatever) I just got into the town of silent hill on sh3. I also just picked up my vita which I haven’t used in a long time that happens to have silent hill 1 on it.

    My original intentions was to play and beat sh3 then go to one and then go to 2 and 4. Right now on silent hill 3 I just got to the hospital and I know what happens (due to playing) to you know, what I found out is the main character of silent hill 1.

    SO, what I'm gonna do is play silent hill 1 on my vita and after I beat that, I'll go back to sh3 to continue my save right when I got into silent hill. You know when you have to go the hospital if you already played.

    So yeah that's that, uh cheers everyone I guess.

    P.S: I also haven't used my vita in a long, long, time so getting some use out of it is another reason why imma go you know play silent hill 1 on that.

    I want to play the games, but idk how.

    Hey, i'd like to play these games for the first time in my entire life, i have a ps1, ps2, ps3 ps4, ps5 and a xbox one s.

    Ideally, i'd like to play mainly the first 2 games, do you have any reccomendations ? Should i buy a ps now subscription and play the HD Collection (but i've heard it was trash), or should i just plug my ps1 again and try to find a copy somewhere but i have absolutely no idea where i can find it.

    I also have a potato pc that i plan to upgrade in a few months when 3080 are restocked.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    So recently I checked my Xbox store and found Silent Hill is 7 dollars. But I heard alot of controversy about the game. Like light quality and new voice acting. And I just want to know from everyone else experience, is it worth it or should I wait till I get a PC and get an emulator?

    Silent Hill (PS1) on PS3

    I might be getting a used PS3 sometime soon, and I wonder if I could download the first SH for it via the PlayStation store (I live in Denmark, don't know if there are regional differences on the PS Store - never tried it since my newest PlayStation is a PS2).

    Buying the original PS1 game physically is kind of expensive, you see, so I thought this might be a good way to play it. I have seen some people say you can, but then again I can't seem to find it on their PlayStation Store website anywhere.

    Is there a reason you can't buy Silent Hill 2 on an PC-game stores?

    Not on Steam, not on GOG, not on Epic. Why? The game has such a large cult following to this day, and nostalgia is riding high. They just rereleased Silent Hill 4 on PC. Doesn't Konami wanna make some extra money? There must an actual reason I can buy ridiculously obscure old games but not this very successful one. It's not even that old.

    SH2 vs SH3 which one you like best?

    Finished SH3 for the 1st time, it was nice but had too much red environment it hurt my eye and after a while i started to feel tired from all that darkness.I beat SH2 last month and it's much better than 3 as it left me sitting after the credits (and mary's letter) just letting all of it sink in and couldn't stop thinking about it for days, it was by far a better experience.As for 3 after i beat it i was like "meh, ok what's next" . Idk just my opinion, your thoughts?
