| Posted: 28 Feb 2020 05:39 PM PST hey all, i've been looking for ways to get into the silent hill series but emulators aren't much of an option for me due to only having a shit laptop, so it seems like my only option is the hd remaster for 2 and 3. i'm just wondering exactly how much it would ruin my experience and if it at least keeps the story all the same. or would i just be better off leaving it alone entirely and watching gameplay on youtube instead? With Mary as the main character and James as the main villain where he slowly turns into Pyramid Head as the story progresses. Have it start with their normal happy life and descend into the nightmare it ended up being for Mary. The ending would be spoiled of course but the journey could be incredible. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 28 Feb 2020 06:02 AM PST I emulated this game and played it with my girlfriend recently. When I got to the hospital world she made a comment about the design of the patient victims. "They kind of look like a female version of Walter but disfigured..." Her comment chilled my spine, I had never looked at them in that light and it made me feel so uncomfortable in a good way ya know? His obsession with the womb, his mother, and the mutilation he is performing when you first load the area really give this enemy a twisted and grim symbolism I enjoy.
