Stuck on ReShade loadng screen for Silent Hill 2 Enhanced

I'm trying to get the Enhanced mod for Silent Hill 2 working but I cant get past the boot up ReShade loading black screen. It says 4 assets loading but never loads. Is there a way to fix this? I've used the Reshade files that comes with the mod and tried updating it and neither work.
