    What's up with the love for the first movie?

    I mean, aside from the good visuals, the movie was a complete trainwreck.

    It butchered the first game's story so unbelievably hard and caused so much confusion about the lore of Team Silent's games, along with the forced Pyramid Head scenes. Also the choice of replacing Harry with Rose was "because the audience can root better for a female parent figure" which is sexist as fuck.

    Sure, it's not as bad as Revelations but still.
