    What is going on with the prices for Silent hill games?

    Silent Hill 1999- 50$

    Silent Hill 2 2001- 60$

    Silent Hill 3 2003- 45$

    Silent Hill 4 2004 (PS2 Ver)- 79$

    Silent Hill Shattered Memories 2009 (PS2 Ver)- 100$

    Silent Hill Origins 2006- 44$

    I bought 1/2 and Shattered Memories in the PS2 when they came out respectively. Is it rarity? I think it's because of P.T's Popularity or how It's one of (if not) the best horror series ever made! If you can give me a good reason it would be much appreciated! :)

    Silent Hill 3 PC RT/LT button issue

    Hi there,

    Im trying to set everything for SH3 so I can play it when Im done with SH2. Theres one problem I have now: I just cant make the trigger buttons work on the modded (pc fix by steam006) version (it works for the unmodded version through steam library but this version is also unplayable). Neither XInput Plus nor putting it in my steam library work. Do you guys have any ideas how I can fix that? Should I try to install a pc port from a different website and mod that one maybe? Im running the game on a surface book.

    PS: I also get some framedrops in the amusement park (heather walks in slowmow for a couple seconds) for a short time a couple times, nothing severe or anything that makes the game unenjoyable. Can I still fix that somehow too? No big deal if not. Otherwise the game runs like a charm and stays at 60fps (tested until the mall).

    Where can I download Silent Hill 2 Director's Cut?

    Buying the other gamers in the series after 4. What are the best versions to get?

    Yeah yeah I know, "no versions", but I'd like to have the whole series (minus Book of Memories)

    I went ahead and picked up Origins for PSP for $15, these are the systems I plan to get the other games for:

    Homecoming: PS3 Shattered Memories: Wii Downpour: PS3

    Is that okay or are the 360 versions better for HC, Downpour? How about the PSP or PS2 vs Wii for SM?

    I recently finished my Silent Hill fan game titled The Present. It's a point and click/puzzle game that takes place in the cafe from SH1. My focus was to recreate the ambience from the series, specifically the more quiet moments. It mixes different elements from the first three games, without trying to be canonical.     PT Last Loop New Clue?

    Hi Reddit, I played PT tonight and noticed something new. I played the last loop, solved it, then walked over to the door and stood in front of it. I was waiting for a friend to come over; I like to give new players the controller in this position so they can walk right through the door and start a new game.

    To my shock, after about 10 minutes I heard a voice! Then, my friend came over and it happened again! The second time I was setting up my friend with headphones and he heard it right after he put them on, now about 25 minutes after standing in front of the door without moving.

    We played through it, this time at the last loop I hooked up an audio recorder and waited. 13 or 15 minutes in it happened again! My friend said it sounded different than what he heard, he thinks what he heard was in English. We waited around to get the second voice but nothing happened for 45 minutes.

    I do have a recording of that first voice though. It sounded like someone speaking backwards so I reversed the audio in Audacity. I can't tell what the language is, Japanese maybe?

    Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know what the voice is saying? I'll post the audio file here, both how I recorded it and reversed.

    Silent Hill 3 PC controls config problem?

    I'm trying to set up the Silent Hill 3 PC version controls to suit a controller format.
    So far so good up until trying to reconfigure the two Strafe keybinds.
    For whatever reason, I cannot change them as the game won't allow me to, yet will allow changes to everything else.

    I can swap the input to the X button for example, but then the game reverts when exiting the configuration screen. So it goes back to only allowing the keyboard's A and D buttons to allow strafing.
    My controller definitely works as well or I wouldn't be able to mess around with experimenting with those Strafe commands.
    Is there any way around this or will I just have to get used to using both controller and keyboard to quick turn/strafe?
