    Honestly, I don't think it's really worth it believing any rumors at this point unless Konami officially announces anything. From what I've learned so far, Konami seems to be looking for quick cash grabs hence they focused mostly on mobile games and pachinko machines and from what I gathered from Ito's tweets and other online posts, apparently the Silent Hill sales had quite bad sales (the 2nd game initially got backlash for being too different from the first one, sold less, the 3rd didn't do much better either and from 4th onwards was just a progressive commercial underperformance), which makes me think that Konami has little to no faith in the series, which might as well be good as dead for them. I also think (not sure if it was confirmed or alluded at) that Konami most likely cancelled Kojima's Silent Hills and ended the contract with him because his games were taking lots of resources and money and probably didn't bring back as much profit as Konami was expecting (wish they would have posted numbers of their game sales somewhere like Capcom) (also, not sure if true but there were rumors that Kojima would have used resources allocated to other games for his own, leaving the others with limited resources for their own game). Anyway, you can take this with a grain of salt, was just sharing my opinion about the series and its foggy future. But yeah, I honestly don't think they'll ever release a new game, especially after the last several attempts flopped commercially and got backlash too

    Enhanced Edition Not Working

    So I've been attempting to play the enhanced edition of SH2, and after hours of trying I've decided to look for any help here. My current issue is that a completely black screen, with reshade at the top is as far as I can get (It doesn't say 4 effects, and I've tried it without reshade, which just leads to a black screen). The issue seems to be that it won't respond, no matter what I do. Any help would be appreciated.

    I played SH2 on PCSX2 and it worked great but I did try the PC version first and it was a buggy experience, but is the SH3 PC port as good as emulation or is it better emulated for highest res, fps, and assets?

    i just remembered a wired dream i had like 6 months ago? maby was shorter or longer idr....

    but the bathroom was next to alessas room, alessas room was slightly bigger and was my room with my belongings in it, the rest of the house had some of our furtature and the gillespie furnature. i cant remember all the details but false memory in the dream sied moved here few months ago. i guess it was kinda cool to see the non burning version of the house other than the limited area get to see in the game.

    Hey there,

    So, I love sh2 so much and just want to roleplay it more than anything. I have been looking for someone who would be able to write as James against my Angela. The premise would be exploring the revival ending, going down that path and stopping Angela from what she did to herself.

    It would explore a lot of the cult behavior, we could both work on the inner working on that. I would very much enjoy some slow burn Angela/James romance in there.

    I am looking to roleplay in 3rd person on Discord. I know this is a longshot, but I figure someone might be into it! Feel free to message me or send me a chat.
