How many of you can do the puzzles without looking at game walkthroughs? Posted: 18 Jun 2020 05:14 PM PDT I recently got to play silent hill 1, 2, and 3 for the first time. I love these games. I also don't like to "cheat" or look at game walkthroughs if I can manage it. However, there are just some puzzles in the games that I think I would never have been able to figure out. For example: In silent hill 1, the room (in nowhere) where you solve the puzzle to get the "time stone". I tried for about an hour before looking up the answer. Also, the piano room with the riddle with the birds. Couldn't get that one either. Silent Hill 2, the coin puzzle- yeah I got close, but had the orientation flipped the wrong way. Let alone, I had trouble finding the coin that you have to drop the juice down the trash chute to get. These puzzles were still fun to do, and the ones that I was able to figure out on my own were extremely rewarding. Im just curious how many of you were able to complete them all on your own? Will Dead by Daylight DLC sales effect our chances for a new title? Posted: 18 Jun 2020 11:23 AM PDT What do you all think? Do you think good sales for this DLC could convince Konami to license out Silent Hill for a new title? (Assuming the rumored game isn't happening) [link] [comments]

Getting into the Silent Hill franchise Posted: 18 Jun 2020 01:44 PM PDT Hey guys, I am a big fan of everything horror. I have seen most classic horror movies and absolutely adore the genre. Sadly horror games were never something I tried. Since the new Silent Hill chapter is coming to one of my favourite games (Dead by Daylight) I decided to watch the movie. After the movie I felt a need for more from this world. Question is... can I still get into the Silent Hill franchise 20 years after it started? If so, how do I begin with all the tons of medium and the games being for old consoles? [link] [comments]

I have a theory, what if there's an easter egg in DBD for a new SH game? Posted: 18 Jun 2020 12:23 PM PDT Hear me out, there's obviously been a lot going on lately with the name of Silent Hill, and the possible reveal that let us down last week. What if it wasn't supposed to be revealed then, before the DBDxSH chapter dropped? There's a lot of leaks around SH, and plenty of cooperation & dev help by og team silent for this chapter. So what if they trying to sneak something in there like they did with the clock tower easter egg? I mean it's a stretch but given all that's happened, doesn't seem too far a stretch.
