Posted: 20 Oct 2020 06:02 AM PDT Not one game is alike, surely this is a massive sign to never expect the exact same thing. Even the symbolism in the games reflect this, no one has identical monsters, i.e. no character has an identical horrific experience. Even when monsters return, they do so with massive redesigns to reflect all-new purporse, all-new horror, specific to the protagonist of each differing game. For example, there has been a rendition of Nurses in just about every game, but they are all different, because what each represents is different. If you are wondering my opinion at this stage on each Silent Hill game, I have enjoyed them all on their own merits. Homecoming was great, albeit annoying enemy types. Shattered Memories was great, albeit the inability to make characters repeat themselves at crucial times (Lisa's desired pill colour). Silent Hill 1 to 3 was great, albeit I never got into the whole 'deliberately shit controls = scary' idea and just found it annoying (hence why I couldn't bring myself to finish them). Each has merits and flaws, but I like them all. [link] [comments]

I have cancer and Iv allways wanted to play pt anyway I can before I pass? Posted: 20 Oct 2020 04:12 PM PDT I know this will most likely fall upon death ears but I was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer a month ago and according to my doctor I only have 1 year left so iv been finishing a lot of the things iv allways wanted to do like skydiving and going to Amsterdam among other things but one thing iv allways wanted to do that seems impossible is to play pt just cause I love all of the other silent hill games and have allways wanted to play pt is there any possible way I could play it before I pass? Edit: Ik this will most likely seem like I'm trying to pull of the cancer kid ama scam thing but idk if there's anyway to prove that it isn't lol [link] [comments]
