    I'm sure this question is redundant on this sub but I don't know anything about Silent Hill, Konami/Kojima split or anything of the sort so bare with me. Is there any possible way I could play this game? Preferably on PS4 but PC also works. I refuse to believe this game just disappeared off of the face of the earth, it's gotta be playable someway or another, right? If there's an emulation that's about as good as the original then that would also work. Thanks

    Why were the Silent Hill comics so bad?

    I read both IDW Silent Hill omnibus editions again recently, and I'm wondering why the stories are so bad? Is there any background on what happened, and why the stories were so convoluted, and generic?

    If a new game emerged, what type of camera would you want?

    1. First Person (Resident Evil 7)
    2. Third Person Fixed (Resident Evil 1-3)
    3. Third Person Over the Shoulder (Resident Evil 4-6, Resident Evil 2 remake)
    4. Third Person Semi-Static (Resident Evil Code Veronica, Silent Hill)
    5. "Second Person" (Siren series)

    For me I think the ideal camera would switch between over the shoulder and semi-static. You could include some fixed camera moments but even the latter Silent Hill games moved away from that because fighting enemies became a chore.

    I realize first person is generally considered scarier nowadays but I think Silent Hill should remain third person.

    Second person cameras are when you view your character through the eyes of another character. It's rarely used outside of gimmicks like Siren's creature vision. Super Mario 64 is technically second person, too. I don't think this would be ideal outside of a momentary scare.

    I've desperately wanted to play Silent Hill 2 and 3, but I don't have a PS2. I do have a PS4, with the subscription that lets me play some free games, one of which is the HD collection of 2 and 3. Should I play it, or wait to play the original version on PS2?
