    seriously i loved game loved it and now i'm slowly starting to hate it where the hell is the third coins for the puzzle? i have the snake and the prisoner but cant find the last one i roamed the whole map i'm just dumb or something?

    (PC) Silent Hill 2 - James running bug

    Hey all, does anybody know what causes James to stop running all of the sudden.

    I am currently speed running this game and I have a 4th in the world recording but I feel like I can break a record if he wouldn't just stop running for no reason.

    Is it a analog bug or something because I use a controller? Is there a patch that I can install that wouldn't disqualify me?

    Any info would be appreciated. :)

    So I beat Silent Hill 2 last October and absolutely loved every minute and even played the Maria scenario. I’m now gonna move onto Silent Hill 3. Any tips, tricks, recommendations, or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks SH Reddit!

    Good morning/afternoon/etc.,

    So after some life troubles in August I've decided to start making music, and saying Yamaoka was my biggest inspiration would be an understatement. I've loved everything from that guy since I played SH1 in PS, and the more I learn about musicmaking the more I see he's a true genius.

    I hadn't posted before because I'm not very familiar with reddit and my other stuff never felt close to it, but talking to a friend these days he described this as 'creepy', so close enough I guess.

    Lore question, help please!

    I'm having trouble finding a source around an event that precedes the first game.

    Does Dahlia Gillespie set the fire that leaves Alessa charred and trapped in the nightmare for seven years? If yes, what memo or cut scene establishes this? Is the lore only given in Origins, or is it in the first Silent Hill? I was under the impression that it WAS explicitly stated in the first game, but now I'm having trouble digging up that info.

    Silent Hill HD Collection (Xbox One)

    I know this has been asked a million times, but I have read a lot of mixed opinions on whether it's worth it or not.

    It's been more than a year since I played the original Silent Hill and I'd really like to play the rest of the games. Sadly I can't get my hands on a PS2 and my laptop is not powerful enough to emulate anything past the first PlayStation. I intend to play the legit versions at some point, but until then, should I bother with the HD Collection or just wait no matter how much time it takes?

    So, i still have never played Silent hill 2 but i really really want to. I have an original Xbox and i found someone selling Silent hill 2 for 249KR (23€), should i go for it or buy a playstation 2 along with a ps2 copy?

    In the original silent hill, do you prefer the good ending or the good+ ending?

    I think I like the regular good ending over good+. Harry being alone as he runs out of silent hill with baby heather is more fitting for a game where you are isolated and alone for most of your journey. It also might be because I enjoy more bittersweet endings.
