    A question for the sound design buffs out there lol. With most of the monsters I can kinda tell where the sound may have come from IRL but not so much with the Slurpers.

    My best guess is that it's literally just some someone sucking something through a straw but super distorted. Either way though, it's such a raw, gross noise, it's difficult to tell for sure. What do you think?

    Anybody ever heard of it before? It seems to be a 5 track mini-disc, includes YNH, Letter From The Lost Days and Monochrome Night+2 "b-sides" that never wound up on the OST. I've been enamored with the Yamaoka OST's for a very long time, really cool to come across a few songs I've never heard before. Heads No. 1 is an instant favorite for me

    Why is Silent Hill 2's otherworld very different from other games?

    I've noticed that Silent Hill 2's otherworld is considerably less hellish and visceral compared to the other worlds of silent hill 1 and 3. Why is that?

    The town that the 2006 film version of Silent Hill was based on, taken back in the 50's before the coal fire with Promise (Reprise) playing. Thought you all might like to see this, it gives me the same eerie feeling that the games do.

    German version of Silent Hill 4

    Does anyone here have a copy of the German SH4? Or have played it? I have my own copy that someone wants, but I don't have the right equipment to get it running on my NA PS2 anymore. Just wanted to know if the game has an option to play in English. Thanks in advance
