Will we ever get a Silent Hill game? Posted: 10 Jan 2020 07:22 PM PST
I dont know if this has been talked about or not Posted: 10 Jan 2020 11:12 AM PST But was there any mention of what Silent Hills was going to be about? Was it going to be a first or third person game? What was the story going to be about? Now I know Konami had Kojima sign off basically saying he couldnt ever talk about the game anymore but I'm just curious as to if there any details ever brought forth. [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Jan 2020 12:55 PM PST I'm playing SH2 and SH4 on a small old HDTV since I don't have a CRTV. I can't decide on the brightness settings. It either seems too dark or bright. Any thoughts on this? Should it look so dark? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Jan 2020 12:47 PM PST I might get a vita soon and if I'm correct Origins is still able to be bought? I'd get SM too but it doesn't pop up on the site. Origins from what I hear is just so so and I know PS2 copies are pricey. But for $9.99 I say it's worth trying. How different is the PSP version? [link] [comments]
Significance of out of reach imagery - SH4 Posted: 10 Jan 2020 08:07 AM PST I was playing through SH4 last night, in the latter half of the game with Eileen. I think I was in the transition between the return to the Forest World and the return to the Water Prison. This section serves as bridge between the levels once the hole in Henry's bathroom closes up. There are some very interesting "dioramas" and more just out of reach as you descend the large spiral staircase. I noticed two in particular that peaked my interest and I wanted to know if anyone had some interesting insight or theories about what they might mean. I gather that this area in the game represents Henry delving deeper into Walter's mind (what Joseph recommends for anyone to be able to stop him). In one of these "dioramas" you see a small cutout of what seems to be a hallway suspended above the void. Two people kneel in what seems to be worship alongside a taller standing figure. Another one of these dioramas has almost an identical hallway cutout with a larger than life literal sheep. Just standing there face to face with closed door. Any thoughts? I found it peculiar and couldn't find any posts about it. Thanks for reading [link] [comments]
Would a ps3 make the games look normal on a 4K tv? Posted: 09 Jan 2020 11:45 PM PST Probably not a welcome question but a lot of people seem knowledgeable in this field on this sub & I can't find a straight answer on goodle, but I hear that backwards compat ps3s make ps2 look "better" on hdtvs, but is it the same as 4K TVs or is that simply too high of a resolution? I wanted to get a final fantasy xiii ps3 slim, but I still play every silent hill title so it would make much more sense to get a ps3 back conpat especially since I use a 4K tv, ps2 honestly isn't bad at all, but 3 specifically could look better TLDR: do ps3s make ps2 games look normal on a 4K tv?
