- The marketing choice to make a physical copy of Silent Hill DBD is a good sign for a franchise resurgence. No other franchise that DBD is affiliated with got such treatment and there’s likely a reason for it.

Is it me, or is the final section of SH3 challenging? Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:45 PM PDT Spoilers, of course. I'm not even talking about the puzzles, the amount of enemies blocking your path once the whole church area starts corrupting is crazy, and they aren't even dogs but the guys with the cleavers, damn. Not complaining though, I love how fucked up and scary this final section is, and the enemies just add to the tension. [link] [comments]

Introducing: Huld County, VA, a psychological horror podcast Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:06 PM PDT So, this is my first ever post on this subreddit, and I'm here to introduce you to a passion project of mine that's inspired by the horror of Jacob's Ladder and Silent Hill. Huld County, VA is a horror anthology series set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, in the fictional county of Huld. It follows numerous stories and accounts of people who's lives are entangled with a darkness within the three towns of Lanefort, Bjornebye, and Rickardsville. Currently, there is a prologue and one full episode out, titled The Soldier, with five more episodes planned for season 1. Episode 2, titled The Babysitter, is currently in the writing phase, and I've been doing my best to finish and release it soon. If you have any passing interest in it, please please please, give it a listen, either on YouTube, Podbean, or even just putting the RSS feed into whatever audio player you have. I'm trying to get it on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and whatnot. Let me know of any thoughts you have on what's out so far, be it means of improving the series or elements you like about it. Posted: 31 Aug 2020 08:22 PM PDT so I heard entering the Konami code makes Douglas forget his pants and walk around in his boxers everywhere but does that last indefinitely through every playthrough after being entered or does it turn off after you complete the first play through that he's in his boxers during? I don't want to enter it and get stuck with pants-less douglas forever. [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:14 PM PDT I'm currently replaying Silent Hill 3 and i realized the control sucks. Any suggestions about the control settings for mouse and keyboards in PCSX2? And the resolution, texture ,..settings as well. Thanks all [link] [comments]
Anyone else worried the new game is apparently a reboot and not a remake? Posted: 31 Aug 2020 05:02 PM PDT Obviously we don't fully know anything, it's just rumors at this point, but the reboot rumor seems pretty strong at this point if certain credible leaker's are to be believed. I'm worried they will change so much it just won't feel like Silent Hill, I know that's the point of a reboot, but the town, it's mystery, the cult, the otherworld, they're all such big parts of the series, I don't know how I'd feel if they took some of those things away. I didn't like Shattered memories, the concept was great, but it felt boring and dull in many other ways. I guess it's been so long since we had a good faithful Silent Hill game I find it hard to be positive about a new game, especially if it's a reboot, or changes things like SM did. One positive is some of the original SH members being involved supposedly. What do other people think? Who knows maybe the changes would be small, would they have new characters maybe?
