    Silent hill 2 EE Pc: No audio?

    So I see a lot of talk of what people would want to see in a new SH title, but my thought is

    What is a staple that cannot be removed for it to be a SH title to you?

    For my it's the radio, the fog, the exploration, the psychological aspect, twisting narrative, non-western Devs and preferably multiple endings

    Particularly, the Spiral Staircase. I watched "TheGamingMuse" recent video on it. She shows some pictures and unused art but I can't find anything that isn't small and very low resolution. I've checked the SH wiki and they have the same small pictures. I'm sure others would be interested in this as well.

    Yes there was a leak. Everyone is hurt about the previous leaks, or just desensitized to them at this point. I'm personally going to speculate.

    To be clear. Someone asked him how sure he was of the leaks. He had this to say

    Silent Hill I'm less so, not in that their existence exists, I can validate what I said definitely happened. But I don't know anything about the development, I've known about these two SH games for like two years now.

    He isn't even sure about it. This group tends to polarize over leaks and everyone either hops on a hype train or buries their heads in the sand. Take this leak with a grain of salt or ignore it if you are pessimistic. Leaks are leaks people.

    My speculation: The ideas were pitched two entire years ago. We don't know if they went through with any of it. We don't know if they pitched entirely different ideas to different companies. We don't know how consistently they kept up with working on these concepts if they even started them. They could have started an idea and scrapped it. Two years is a long ass time in the development world. I personally trust it, because he isn't even revealing that much. It would be like if a music artist came forward and leaked about another music artist calling for a collaboration on a project two entire years prior. IF you want to trust this leak, which is a consistent reputable leaker. Based on the leak, all we know is that Konami called companies up with these two ideas. That's it. Again, they could have scrapped and abandon them by now its been long enough and we would be none the wiser. If the leak is true, that means Konami hasn't abandon the series. That's all it means. Take that for what it's worth.

    TL;DR: If you want to trust the leak, the absolute most you could pull is that Konami hasn't abandon the series. That's it. That could be good or bad depending on your opinion.

    I consider this the worst of the Silent Hill games next to the Arcade, but there are things I like about it.

    I liked the female character designs for the player character avatars (Goth and Rocker bases were real cuties)

    And we got some banger Mary Elizabeth McGlynn songs out of it with "Now We're Free" and especially "Love Psalm" out of it.

    But that's about it.

    Really it's not a bad game mechanics wise...its just because it was this type of game but with the Silent Hill pedigree slapped over it like a bad paint job is why I consider it the worst Silent Hill game alongside the Arcade shooter.

    Just my two cents.
