    Thoughts on Silent Hill 4?

    Just played through SH4 for the first time. I thought it was pretty great, and very, very strange, even by SH standards. It felt like being trapped in some Ambien-induced nightmare. The apartment concept works really well and it's interesting to explore and find new creepy details/changes each time you return (I see where Kojima drew his inspiration from for PT.) I love how it commits to being it's own thing, it's what the series needed after three games that in a lot of ways were very similar. The controls and camera might be the worst of any SH game though, and the inventory system was terrible..But it kept me intrigued and creeped out the whole time. What did you guys think of SH4 when you first played it?

    Adapted to their own culture, set in Japan instead of the US. I mean the city of Silent Hill being in Japan in this adaptation instead of being in the US. I personally think it'd be amazing.

    Hey, just saw that this was a thing. Does anyone have a link to the download now that it's been removed? I found Unreal PT but I heard the Emulation had everything but the scripted scenes done proper? I also saw it's on his patreon but I'm super hesitant to pledge to something that seems sketchy

    Great name ideas for silent hill inspired game

    Due to being off work at the moment, and sick of my hopes for a silent hill game getting messed with I thought screw it do it your self. I now have the tools to do so as was thinking on trying it out on ps4 dreams. But with the resent stricter rules on copyright. I don't want my project to be compromised in anyway. It's probably going to be original story but would love to do what re2 did for resident evil (with silent hill 2) ...so anyone got any good game names 🙃

    For SH Fans—Read Hellblazer Comics!

    Hellblazer has that same visceral story driven horror with each page turning darker red.

    Fortunately ComiXology has a 60 day free trial cause of quarantine and you can bury yourself in these stories. Make sure it's the Vertigo ones and not DC. Start on the later volumes since the art is more easily absorbed.

    Contrast between SH and SH2

    In SH2 it's implied that characters are called to SH if they have done something bad. Granted that Angela and Eddie aren't real according to some theories. In SH1 Harry is just looking for his daughter after a car crash.

    Silent hill origins on ps3/ps4 store??
