I didn't play it alone mind you, but often after a good play session, I would just lie in my bed feeling psychologically fucked. Honestly, I think Pyramid Head is what really did me in. I never knew when that fucker was going to show up, and I was always terrified that he was in whatever room I was in. (I think the game revealed something about my childhood, because my father was overly intrusive in my life and I always worried about his presence.) I really want to play Silent Hill 3, but if it's much scarier than 2, like I've seen many say, I think I'll have to pass. Are there people who think 2 is actually scarier? ( what did she mean that she always see the fire but james saw the fire for the first time ) 2-How the hell maria keeps dying and living for manu times .. is she real ? 3-in 2nd scenario , maria just got born from imagination once james enter silent hill? 4-Why was laura in silent hill? was she guilty? was she real ? then how did she see mary just lately ? 5-How did james get the letter from mary 3 years after she died ( got murdered)? 6-is alessa or the order in this universe ? how does SH2 relate to SH1 7- They had memories in silent hill back there when mary was alive , when was that ? when was the last time silent hill was normal and when did it start to be this way with fogs etc ... I was wondering, is it possible to play SH1 on the PC? With an emulator, perhaps? I have been locked it my home for 10 days now and I was hoping I could play it to help get distracted. Me and some friends were hoping to share screen through skype so we could keep ourselves company and relive the horror AND show it to another friend that hasn't played it. And it's was pretty good Posted: 21 Mar 2020 12:40 AM PDT I get it silent Hill downpour gets a little bit of hate, and I understand that Its not how a silent Hill game should be and leaves a little bit more to be desired. but I will say silent Hill downpour did a great job with its beautiful and loanly atmosphere it felt creepy good at times and had great areas to explore and it was a little bit creepy at some parts like exploring the library. the otherworld segments were really cool and trippy but I felt like there was something very off, something was missing they could have done something way cooler than running from some black hole. The puzzles in the game actually pretty fun and made you think. The concept and idea for the boogeyman was really cool. (Glad they didn't use pyramid Head) and created something new for the characters and what the guy in the wheelchair represents was actually interesting. But the one thing that took away from all of that would be the enemies. Very repetitive pretty much the same, they don't change with a very lazy design. the only time I felt like some of the enemies actually fit in and gave a good atmosphere. Was in certain underground areas and in the final area the prison. That's where some of those enemies made sense. Combat to me felt pretty good, made me think if I want to take the time to actually fight these enemies or run but the enemies were very bland so to say. Not too much of a variety, in some sections it definitely could have used it enemy designs felt rushed like it was the last thing they did. the story I felt was pretty darn good with all the twists and turns that happened in the game and I felt like did a good job at building the characters and to me it felt like one of the most original silent Hill games since team silent disbanded maybe if vetra games took a little bit more time we probably would have got something a bit different and a little bit more polished all in all I can't look at this game as survival horror or a horror game in general. it felt more like a thriller, not so much of a psychological thriller like it was going for. Just a thriller. I played this game on rpcs3 and resolution set at 1440p at 60fps and I will say the game looked amazing it was very detailed in the world scape. [link] [comments] | ||
