- Norman Reedus is in talks with Hideo Kojima to do something other than Death Stranding.
- Who remembers this from Silent Hill 3? It was always strange seeing this cute kitty face in the dark underbelly of such a insidious subway. It was somewhat unsettling seeing it in a long, dark, endless corridor. A splash of yellow in a dreary world.

- Heather’s smile is so precious

Norman Reedus is in talks with Hideo Kojima to do something other than Death Stranding. Posted: 09 Mar 2020 10:56 AM PDT Norman did the Most Searched Questions interview where he was asked about Death Stranding and mentioned he is in talks to do other stuff with Kojima: 4:23 This doesnt mean Silent Hill is confirmed but it is still an interesting piece of information. Posted: 09 Mar 2020 03:12 PM PDT It's easy money for sony and from places like Lost in Vivo and Lone Surivor you don't need the Silent Hill name to make a Silent Hill game [link] [comments]
Played SH1 for the first time! Posted: 09 Mar 2020 07:42 PM PDT So yes, I'm 32, and had only ever finished sh2 so far. Never got to play sh1 during the days, but finally brought myself to play it. Loved every bit, apart from the stuck gameplay. It's so nice when we manage to get ourselves involved with the story. So much that even with those psx graphics, I felt a great deal of immersion. And here goes the spoiler alert, if you are like me and avoided hearing about the story after all this time: Too bad, I missed a couple sidequests and ended up with the worst ending. And this is my sole complaint about the game. They put the faith of a good ending on a sidequest. Now I didn't rush or anything, but I completely missed that kaufmann sidequest, because I didn't even see the guy, after he left in the hospital. I was even wondering whatever happened to him. And that's sad, because all good endings depend on him. Needless to say, I didn't save Cybil either, for the same reasons. It just didn't occur to me. The story seemed kinda vague going the direction I took. The explanation at the end was rather quick, and while I enjoyed the ride, I don't feel like playing it again, so I jumped to the spoilers of how it goes. Anyways, it was a great experience, some times we have the feeling if we could erase our memories to play a game anew again, and that's what I kinda did. Fantastic! P.s.: sh2 still my favourite horror game of all time! Going for the third now, which I never managed to finish. Cheers [link] [comments]
Having a nightmare playing PS2 Posted: 09 Mar 2020 02:43 PM PDT So I got a new TV and the only port is HDMI, obviously PS2 doesn't have this so I bought a RWY to HDMI converter and the conversion process makes the game unplayable, even with everything whacked up to max brightness on the game and on the TV, it's a shame because I fancied playing and I refuse to play the HD shitshow on PS3, guess I'm buying an old Timey CTR TV huh [link] [comments]
Silent Hill 1 or 2, which is scarier? Posted: 09 Mar 2020 04:49 AM PDT Hello! I've always wanted to play SH2 but I get terrified at horror games. Like shut down and cry levels of scared. So I've been playing less scary horror to kind of build myself up to scarier ones. So I was wondering if SH1 or 2 is scarier? I'd like to play the less scary one first. Thank you for the help! Posted: 09 Mar 2020 05:14 AM PDT Why is Theme of Laura called as such? Laura is a innocent person who is not psychologically tortured. Really it's the theme of Angela, it's a sad song, yadda yadda. Most importantly, it directly plays in Angela's last scene as Theme of Laura (Reprise). I guess because it rolls of the tongue better, it's catchier/more memorable than Theme of Angela? Posted: 09 Mar 2020 09:20 AM PDT I just got an emulator on my computer but I can't seem to find any good ISO's of either Silent Hill games that don't just give me a virus. Any tips or just simple links would be greatly appreciated. I'm on MAC if that helps at all. [link] [comments]

Silent Hill 3 PC controller bindings Posted: 09 Mar 2020 08:52 AM PDT Hi all, I've installed Silent Hill 3 because I was missing my PS2. I think I've almost got the bindings exactly right so it feels like I'm using my PS2 but whenever I try to zoom in with L2 and move the camera, I move Heather as well. Is this just the way it was on the PS2? Also, have any modders made any HD texture packs for Silent Hill 3 yet, like the machine learning upscaled ones? [link] [comments]
