    Leaker that said Tony Hawk would be revealed today also said Silent Hill(s) would be back.

    Katharsis is probably the most prominent one of the SH leakers back in ResetEra, where the Mods have verified their claims with proof that was given to them after he said SH Reboot with Yamaoka, Ito and Toyama's announcement would come in May/June.

    Still, there's another one that was claiming it way before and was also verified: Okabe.

    What's interesting is that he said that a Tony Hawk game would be revealed in today's event.

    Well, we all know how it went through and now we have Tony Hawk remakes coming our way.

    But, time ago he also said that Silent Hills would be back, along with confirmation about his verified status.

    The specificity of Tony Hawk does give more credibility to the leak.

    Just throwing this here as our weekly SH related hope post we always get, lol

    I love coming into this sub and seeing all the appreciation and attention for ‘Silent Hill 4: The Room’ over the last few months. It always got a bad rap and I couldn’t really understand why. Aside from SH2, it has my favorite OST and I had to hunt it down on eBay.

    These 2 tracks are seriously some of my favourite pieces of music, the fact that they are from a 20 year old video game OST still blows my mind. Are there any artists/albums that you guys know of that are instrumentally/sonically similar? Preferably no vocals. Yamaoka's guitar melodies hit different bro

    When Vincent and Heather are talking and he says "they look like monsters to you?" And then teases her about squishing the life out of them. Is there any canon explanation of what the monsters are? Is she the only one that can see them? Can Vincent or anyone else?

    With the rumors about a new movie, and my hopes high for a SH2 movie, I made a list of actors for which I think would fit for James, Maria/Mary, Angela, and Eddie. A few of my favorites aren't total likenesses, but people who I feel would execute the role well. I'd like to hear more suggestions! If there's enough enthusiasm, I'd love to create a poll for each character.

    Not sure how small the chances are that those working on the movie would actually come to this forum for insight on what fans want, but one can dream.

    I may ignore Sean Bean suggestions, since it would be unlikely that he would play both Harry and James. But feel free to argue with me on that one.

    EDIT: I know I left out Laura. Casting a young girl seems easier/less important. Feel free to disagree.

    Any way to play the original games?

    I mean I have a PS4, but I know they aren't on that one sadly.

    Is there a way to play these games? I have always been fascinated by the Silent Hill franchise since I was a child (spoiler, it's even creepier as a child).

    I don't want to spend like 100 bucks on a PS1/ + the games. I mean fuck, I looked at the prices on amazon of SH1 and it costs like 50 bucks.

    I would love to experience these games for the first time, but I don't know how.

    Are there maybe emulators that are halfway decent, or any other options?

    After playing through the game on ps2 i wanted to try the enhanced version. I installed everything properly, all the music plays fine then suddenly after the cemetery cutscene with angela the music is extremely quiet, like almost inaudible. Even before that the music wasnt as loud as it was in the ps2 version; the sound effects were noticeably louder than the music. I have both bgm and se set to max. Any tips?

    I just reached the Cybil fight and apparently in order to get the true ending I should've gotten the red liquid from the hospital hours ago.

    I'm playing on an emulator, is there any cheat that I could use to get the mysterious liquid without restarting from an old savefile?

    Another stupid question about PC version of Silent Hill games series.

    Hello to everyone who lost themselves in fog, I think maybe someone already asked this question but anyway, how can I get HD PC version of SH 3 or SH 2 ? I know that there are 2 basic and well-known ways of playing any SH: PS2 emulator and mysterious PC version and also I know that there is no way to find it legal (except creating time machine and moving to 2003 but I don't have resources for it) so I cry for help to anyone who know how to help me.
