Silent Hill 4: The Room - Question about Richard's Revolver Posted: 30 May 2020 11:52 AM PDT Hello all. Was just curious to know which enemies you preferred to use Richard's Revolver on. Seems to be a weapon to save for the final showdown, instead of wasting on regular entities. Any thoughts or tips are appreciated. [link] [comments]

I physically can't advance through the game (Silent Hill 1) any help? Posted: 30 May 2020 02:38 PM PDT I'm literally at the beginning, following Cheryl. I get to the point where she walks through the "Beware of dog" gate, and i know I'm supposed to walk through it but when i walk up to it literally nothing happens. I've mashed literally every button on my keyboard too. I guess i should note im using epsxe, i've tried 2 different roms and the problem still exists. I'm only using a rom because i've been told the remakes are awful, is it not just better to go ahead and play the remakes to save the hassle? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 May 2020 08:29 AM PDT Has anyone else noticed that silent hill games jumped in prices? Silent hill 3 was going for around $60ish (last month) for a complete in box but prices are now going for around $120! I just wanna see your opinion on the subject. [link] [comments]
How is the Silent Hill Movie perceived among this community? Posted: 30 May 2020 10:06 AM PDT Do you think the film is good and it portrays the first Silent Hill game accurately, or is it bad and misleading compared to the lore of the first Silent Hill game? I thought it was pretty cool and it got me interested about the idea of Silent Hill and the Silent Hill games. [link] [comments]
Question about the link from Silent Hill 2 to 4 Posted: 30 May 2020 01:40 PM PDT Hey everyone, new to the sub as well as the series. Silent hill came highly recommended to me and I figured the pandemic and being stuck in the house was the best opportunity to dive in. I'm currently on 4 and I noticed something the last time I played it. Again, I'm new to the sub and series so my apologies if this question has been asked or answered here before. I'm about half way through The Room and was wandering around the apartment and examined the picture that says that Frank Sunderland's son and daughter-in-law disappeared in Silent Hill a few years back. Now, when I played 2, I got the In Water ending. I watched the rest on YouTube so I could move onto the next game as I plan to play each game first and then go back for other endings. I was reading about 2 and I kept seeing that the canon ending hasn't ever been determined. However, doesn't the text in 4 essentially confirm the In Water ending is canon? Am I missing something? I know it's kind of a minor detail but I've always loved diving into the lore of a series so I'd love to be able to get it straightened away for myself. Thanks for the help! [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 May 2020 03:52 PM PDT Hi y'all. I shared my links to some GECCO PVC Silent Hill figures I was auctioning off on eBay a few weeks ago (if you're one of the lucky ones who bought a figure, thanks so much!). Today I just uncovered a load of brand new, never opened Silent Hill comics AND the Konami Limited Edition Silent Hill Sounds Box, which has 8 CDs and 1 DVD (never opened any of them, just took the wrapping off the box, so it's in perfect condition). ANYWAY! I'm trying to downsize because I have no space in my tiny living arrangement, PLUS due to my precarious job and the whole situation with COVID I am out of work until September and don't qualify for unemployment. So I've been parting ways with some of my most beloved Silent Hill merch to make money so I can keep a roof over my head and afford to eat and get through summer! Sharing the listing links in case anyone is in the market. Thanks!
