Posted: 16 Nov 2020 08:59 PM PST I've been playing SH2 with my wife and weve had a lot of trouble making it through the game because it's so terrifying. The prison in particular made us almost quit the game, once we got to the courtyard with the nooses we had to take like a week break. Everything else has been terrifying but the only moments that were as bad as the prison was maybe scary bits in the hospital and PHead staring at us from behind the bars in the apartments. I'm at Lakeview hotel now and struggling to finish because every step we take terrifies us. I'm admittedly a huge baby when it comes to horror. I only ever played resident evil 1 and 2 remakes before this, and a small bit of SH1 but I didnt get very far before I decided I wanted to try 2 since I heard it was a masterpiece. If I can barely handle this, will I even be able to play the other games in the series? The jump scares dont really bother me as much as the psychological hell stuff. Am I too much of a normie? My next SH game is shattered memories! Essentially, I like to take items from within the game and take a photo of them with my copy.
