FBX / Unreal Engine Supported Files Data Mined from PT Links? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 03:05 PM PST I'm Making a Game following the PT story directly, a mix of Silent Hills and PT. But long story short I've looked everywhere for some files from PT, but couldn't find any. Was wondering if anyone had a few FBX files of just the house, and maybe a few animations, I already have all the audio files (Literally every single one that is used in the game, so don't bother). Also I've realized that a lot of people have asked this to no prevail, so if anyone has them please please share. [link] [comments] | ||
Had an idea of a Silent Hill game that talks about the idea of PTSD; Silent Hill: A Soldier’s Return Posted: 02 Nov 2020 06:41 PM PST The game opens up with a tutorial of movement and gunplay, taking place in Vietnam in 1968, until our protagonist, Joseph Levine, wakes up in his apartment. It's now 1988, a few months after the events of SH1, in New York City. When Joe gets a call about a death of his friend, he goes to Silent Hill which was his childhood home. When he gets to a rest stop on the outskirts, he sleeps in his car, but then wakes up to snow and fog. Now, he must traverse the misty town with wit and his flashlight. The way that PTSD would affect the game is the design of the dark world, being an overgrown forest, with monsters looking like animals and enemy soldiers, and the player would then hear sounds of war, never forgetting our character's past. Little Hope has a lot of Silent Hill influence in it Posted: 02 Nov 2020 07:43 AM PST Just finished Little Hope with a friend and the whole time, I was thinking they used SH1 as a template for the plot, with SH2 as an inspiration for the ending. Very cool game and doesnt take too long, and quite fun to play with a friend. [link] [comments] |
