    Various people have come contacted me saying that the "leaker" has demanded they pay him money for the leak. Considering the leak can be very easily be fabricated and doesn't really prove anything, this is shitty at best, and a legit scam at worst.

    DO NOT PAY FOR THE LEAK. IT IS WORTH NOTHING. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE, PLEASE CONTACT ME.

    I should've removed the post and got rid of the drama easily. I thought the leak, even if fake, might inspire some discussions and would be harmless. It was a misjudge on my part, and for that I apologize. The post is now removed and the user is banned.

    I am considering publishing the leak, but what's stopping me is losing the trust of the community, and turning legitimate leakers away. So I'm still thinking about it, and would like to know your opinion about the subject as well.

    Again, if you have already paid, let me know. If there are other groups (Facebook, Discord, etc) that already know about the leak, please consider sharing this post with them.

    We will do a better job in the future to foresee consequences to these issues.

    I have no true evidence to support me feeling this way. Call it a gut feeling, or a really bad case of false hope if you will. As a child I had a gut feeling there was gonna be a sequel movie and nobody believed me, yet there was.

    There's also the small fact that about one or two years ago Konami updated the Silent Hill trademark. That could realistically mean a grand total of nothing, but I don't feel like it's over. This really, and I mean really steps on my last post, I know that. I don't know, I'm usually pretty okay at calling this kinda stuff.

    I still wish Silent Hill would be treated better, but Konami did once say Silent Hill isn't over, what do you guys think?

    So I wanted to upset myself again over what we as a fanbase lost out on, so I watched PT/Silent Hills stuff on YouTube. Anyway, I digress...

    In the Silent Hills concept trailer from 2014's Tokyo Game Show, at the end when the character starts walking down the stairs, I think I can hear a very distorted voice repeating something from the demo, possibly indicating that the demo may have been more connected to the final game than initially let on.

    It sounds like it's saying "204863" though it's much harder to notice than it was in the demo.

    How SH2 Resonates With Me, A Survivor Of Abuse

    So today I found out Angela from SH2 is actually the same age as me canonically. I discovered the Silent Hill franchise through my favorite Youtuber, Nitro Rad. Me being a broke young adult, I watched play throughs of the first 4 games. Immediately when I saw Angela, I thought "Oh my goodness she's an abuse victim" as soon as she appeared in the game based on her mannerisms and dialogue. Team Silent absolutely nailed the character of an abuse victim, albeit a bit dramatized. I won't go into details, but from ages 12-17 I was in a severely abusive relationship. My abuser abused me verbally, emotionally, and sexually. Honestly.... I've never related to a character so hard before. The feeling that everything is on fire in my mind constantly, being afraid of men, trusting them fine one second then one look or action and suddenly I'm scared shtless of them, thinking they're the ahle I dealt with 2.0., the constant feelings I'm worthless and deserved what happened. It's awful, and Team Silent captured things I felt myself, and still feel. I wish I could say "but I'm better now" but honestly.... I've only barely started recovery. I was just diagnosed with Complex PTSD (if you aren't sure what that is, r/cptsd has a great definition of it). Horror has always been one of my favorite coping mechanisms, so getting the thrill of scares and seeing a story I can relate to is wonderful. I love this game. Thank you Team Silent for putting out such a master piece.

    Mostly just curious as to what people's favorites are!

    My favorite non-vocal tracks are Lisa's Theme and Theme of Laura, I flip flop between which I like better on a given day. And my absolute favorite Vocal Track is Hell Frozen Rain. I'm not sure how to articulate why I enjoy these three in particular the most but they're just generally my go-to tracks. I've gone through the entire catalog of music several times over, as it's the background music for me when I do my writing assignments.

    If you belive the recent (maybe fake) leak, does this means konami had nothing developed in 5 years and had to aproach hideo kojima to make a new game?

    You could think konami had silent hill 5 already for the PS5. If this rumor its true then this means they had no R&D internally on silent hill at all.

    Hello! I've searched, but can't really find much on the subject.Please re-route me if there's already a thread on this. There are some videos, but I'd love to start a discussion on this, and hopefully it will allow someone to get some SH steam off, especially after some potential drama/fake(or real) news that has happened recently.

    I should preface this by saying I have not played any of the games(I'm a big wuss when it comes to interactive media), I've seen the first film, and remember trying to start the second one multiple times but can't remember ever finishing it(probably a testament to how good it was...) and I respect the films as being seperate from the Game Series. I am talking specifically about the video games I have however watched bits from Let's Plays of first 3 games. So, forgive me if this post is asking for the impossible.

    I'm looking for a timeline of events for the entire series that we know. I know it'll probably take time, and I don't need the most detailed bullet points, I'm just interested to know the bullet points and What game it's in/mentioned in. There's probably tons of things we don't know?? Just do your best??

    What is the “next fear” mode? Is it just hard mode? Is hard mode good in this game?

    I just beat the first silent hill on normal and got the bad- ending, which made me upset, so I wanted to play the game again to get the better endings. Should I play it on "next fear?" What even is next fear?

    Title says it all. Are the games playable for such a person? Or should I just watch playthroughs. Pls don't roast me.
