    Edit - And why is SH2 consistently seen in "greatest games of all time lists" but not other SH games? (you may see SH1 in one of these lists occasionally, but SH2 is pretty much in every one of these types of lists).

    According to the leaker that is. It seems way too soon but a small teaser would be more than enough. Remember how fast Kojima Productions made the first Death Stranding trailer with sucker punch's engine. Now that they've got Decima, it can only be quicker to make a little teaser. I'm trying not to get too hyped but I really want to believe this is true.

    I'm extremely disappointed I thought everyone knew what Silent Hill was but most of my friends have never even heard of it. Are they going to continue it or is it a dead series! This truly saddens me. I grew up with this game series!

    Never played silent hill 2, should i play it on pc (enhanced edition) or on ps2?

    I have heard so much praise from this game that I decided to try it, the thing is I want to have the best first experience possible with it. Which version would you recommend? Also, do i need to play the first one in order to play the second one?

    Best SH game NEVER MADE.

    I think a perfect SH game should include both highly personal character arcs and expand on the main cult storyline.

    Even if SH2 would have a great combat system and was as challenging and scary as SH3 is it would never be a perfect SH game.

    Heather in SH3 is great, but it doesn't feel like she has an actual character arc. She doesn't really change or resolves any inner conflict. Basically the majority of the game is just physical conflicts. It's pretty clear who's a good guy and who's a bad one.

    I think I wanted to have some theme with this "They look like monsters to you" but never expanded on it, which is a shame.

    So what do you think?

    Silent Hill in different setting?

    Could you imagine Silent Hill being in a different setting other than a small American town?

    Could Silent Hill series include more magical-realism stuff similar to Twin Peaks (Season 3 especially) or even games like Fran Bow?

    Been wanting to find somewhere in which in-character humour would be appreciated.

    I've always wanted to find somewhere in which I could constantly by in-character, possibly be asked questions, etc. I have some friends who I do that with as a joke (usually they will ask me a question about my character (usually pyramid head) and I will give a humorous answer as said character.) I thought it would be fun to find a community where I could do something like that, or simply be in character for laughs. any part of the silent hill community that will appreciate that side of my humour?
    (PS. I'm talking about something similar to how in VRChat you would normally be in character, like if you have a specific character, you stay in character and joke around with whoever is there.)
