    I was wondering why Lisa in PT wears only one shoe. Tried to find some symbolic meaning behind this. Most of the sites were just dream dictionaries but i found one interesting thing.

    I sent an email to Konami (i tried with every customer support email adress they have online. For example, ask-konami@faq.konami.com ) saying the following:

    "Dear Konami,

    Sorry for annoying you but i want you to hear me please. I know you probably won't see this message, but I don't lose anything in writing it. I have been a fan of Silent Hill for a long time now and the games in this saga taught me so many things that I will never forget. So I ask you to please revive Silent Hill. There is a large community that is still waiting for a new game (including me) and we would be excited to learn more about Silent Hill. I hope you can read this and I wish you the best. Bring back this amazing franchise. I know you can do it ..."

    This is the response that I got:

    "Dear KONAMI customer,

    Thank you for contacting the KONAMI Customer Support, and thank you for loving our game.

    Your feedback about SILENT HILL is greatly appreciated and we will forward this to the relevant department for future consideration.

    Sinking City Game Has Silent Hill Vibes?

    Has anyone played the game Sinking City? It's heavily inspired by HP Lovecraft, and takes place in the 1920's. You play as a private detective who's suffering from mental issues as he is a veteran of World War 1, and constantly has psychological visions throughout the game. He sees monsters that quite honestly look straight out of a Silent Hill game. I've heard mixed things about it, but I love the Silent Hill-ish psychological horror vibes it has. I've considered picking it up, but I'm not sure. Thoughts?

    Silent Hill fanwork recommendations?

    I've been getting back into Silent Hill after being away from the series for a while. And all the while, I've been almost in a state of melancholy.

    I've just become so jaded and accepted the fact that there will probably never be more Silent Hill ever again. However, it's through our shared experiences and memories that this series will stay alive.

    I was wondering if anyone had any fanwork they would like to share or recommend- fanfiction, videos, artwork, etc. - something that could actually be a part of the Silent Hill universe and lore.

    I'm working on a Fan AU, which is a headcanon version of the SilentHill series, except instead of starting with the first game, it begins with the first Film. The plot of the first film stays quite similar, except is, of course, headcanon. after that, comes the second game, which is also headcanon, and includes James befriending a few monsters, you know, because I can. after that, instead of taking place in the third game, it instead leads to a sequel of the first film, in which Sharon and Rose end up befriending Pyramid Head, since he cannot hurt Sharon, being that she has merged with Alessa. This then leads to them bringing down a revived cult, as the dark magic or whatever of the town has turned Christabella into a monster after death, and they have to kill her again and stuff. I can go into detail with any part of the plot you would like, but it would be far too long to describe here. it would be great if you could give me some ideas for it! I will be posting all sections of this on Quotev when I get all of my ideas together. I will also link my Quotev because you know, you might want to see them when they're done.     Hey there!

    So I've never played ANY of the silent hill games but I was introduced to the franchise from the movie and I was BLOWN AWAY at how AMAZING the soundtrack is thanks to the brilliant Akira Yamaoka.

    But the thing is is that I've been wanting to play the silent hill games to experience the horror but i don't have a PS2 but I do have a PS4 and PS3.

    No I've heard from one side from the community that the HD Collection is a piece of garbage but I was also told that I should just play it since its "not as bad as the internet makes it out to be".

    Should I play the original PS2 classics or should I just work with the HD Colleciton since I dont have the PS2 console I can just access the game on PS4?

    It would be great if there were some pros and cons to wimeugh out the differences of the collection and the originals.

    Silent hill 1. help a noob

    first time SH player here. after encountering some issues playing on ps1 ( due to the console, I bought the game mint ) I decided to do my playthrough on ps2 ( mentioning in case it makes a difference ) i have encountered two bugs so far just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

    both bugs take place in the lakeside area. Firstly during the drug quest, I've followed all the clues and found Kaufman's motel room. I thought I had done everything but while reading a spoiler-free walkthrough I seen there is a newspaper article you're supposed to read on the motel room table. when I try to examine this I get no text other than "this is a newspaper" but i know their is supposed to be an article to read.

    secondly ( and the reason I've started consulting a walkthrough) is during my first attempt at a run when I had been to the lighthouse and begun to follow Cybill to the amusement park I was unable to re-enter the sewers resulting in me having to start again. As you can read i am about to start this section of the game again and am en route to the lighthouse, just wanted to post to see if anyone has had similar issues? does anybody know if this will affect the ending I get if I manage to get past the bug from last time? am I totally missing something?

    Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying super hard to look past this stuff as I really like the game so far.
