    Have not a thread about this so ill start one Sillent Hill 3 PC Disk Issue

    I have a copt of Sikent Hill 3 for PC, but i only have one disc and have had it for a number of years..like close to 15 or so.

    Going to assume that the disk is one of the following: 1. A rip of the DVD version of the game 2. A special disc made by combing the 5 isos of the 5 disc CD version.

    The isue ive been having is that everytime i try to install the game it asks for Disk 2...as ststed only have one disk. Ive install the game MANY a time on othere PCs...could it be an issue with newer OSs??

    What is or os there a fix for this issue??

    SH3 difficulty changes itself.

    So I was playing SH3 on PC with riddles and action set to hard, and I noticed that the info of the save file of these 2 options was suddenly set to easy (and this clearly reflected on the gameplay). I hadn't touch the game for a few days, so Idk what could've happened. I have the widescreen fix, the widescreen cutscenes from WSMSH3 and Xinput+. Any ideas what could be happening/how to fix this?

    I play the game through Steam and mapped out a configuration for the Steam Controller. You don't have to mess with in-game options, just pick up and play.

    I'm pretty sure I'm far into the game seeing as I'm at the lighthouse but... 1.) I've figured out that I've clearly missed the rifle and my ammo is being strained. 2.) I just found out what this plastic bottle I've been holding onto is for. Therefore I must restart. This is unacceptable.

    Split Worm

    So I'm on the first boss fight of Silent Hill 3, the Split Worm.

    Only problem is, I am EXTREMELY low on ammunition. I only have three handgun rounds.

    Okay then, just run up to the damn thing and whack it with a metal pipe, right?

    Well, the problem is, I have EXTREMELY low health. As in, "two hits will kill you" health. And I've busted my ass backtracking and roaming every other area of the mall that doesn't have a broken lock, to no avail. There are no more bullets or recovery items available. And I've tried shooting the monster 3 times, and that isn't enough to kill it.

    This should be an easy boss fight, but I'm just dying over and over again because any time I try to get in close to attack, the damn thing lunges at me. If I had more health, I could take it, but I don't. And I can't heal. And oh god, I do NOT wanna have to start the playthrough over.

    What the hell am I gonna do?

    Edit: finally beat the fucker. Realized you have to get VERY close up to it to get those good ol' metal pipe beatdowns.
