    Hey Guys,

    Check out this video of the gameplay footage of the game I made in Dreams, inspired by the classic gameplay style and visuals of Silent Hill 1-4. If you have dreams on PS4 you can play, otherwise I uploaded a video for others to see, and let me know what you think of it. I'm thinking of doing more but this took me around 3 full days of work and want to see if people are interested. It's already got a good response from the users of dreams, so thought I'd share on this subreddit also.

    I know it hás 20 years and the dialogue is bad, for today's standards, but the soundtrack and the unpredictable nature of the enimies without jumpscares still scares me. Recently i played the first one in my ps3 a third time in the dark, alone and with headphones and i got chills. Dead serious. Man what a mad game. I love It. Am i alone in this guys? Cuz i feel i am. Anyway, great game. Great franchise. Hopefully It will come back Someday.

    Is there any way to access older SH games on PS4? I'm talking about anything from SH1/Downpour/SH2 etc etc. I have heard from people that you can access the older titles, and from others I have heard that you can't. Very confused

    Yes, I know the games are beta builds and whatnot. Even then, I'd like to know which version, as of 2020, is preferable to play, which one is less buggy and brings a better experience overall. Thanks!

    Can someone explain to me a couple of questions i have ? (new to the series and I want to start)

    1. How does the town of silent hill work ? if silent hill exsisted in the real world and i wanted to go to the town would i have the same experiences as other characters in the series ? or would i need to have a cruel and messed up life and then the creatures meanifest ? and to that extent the creatures, do have the ability to spread to other places in the USA ?
    2. Is Alessa dead ? I know she split her body in two one being cheryal and one being herself but what happened to the original body ?
    3. whats the most recent stage that the order is in or to a degree storywise were does silent hill stand ? is the town still being haunted or has the curse been lifted ?

    *for people who say look at the wiki

    A) would take to long to read all that info

    B) I like having a discussion on reddit

    Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Version - won't start

    I downloaded an ISO for the game, and it installed perfectly. Then I followed the instructions on the website to install the enhanced version to the letter. When I started the game.... nothing happened. Literally, nothing. Checking the log that was generated, the .exe started, a lot of files were called but nothing appears on screen. The game plays fine from the original .exe so I don't think its a compatibility/graphics card issue. Running Windows 10, laptop with integrated graphics. Anyone seen this before?

    Silent Hill 3 PC soft and quiet audios on some points. Is there a solution?

    Is it just me or does the gun sound much quieter on the PC version than the PS2 version when you fire a shot. Also when the gates on the otherworlds elevators crush it doesnt sound as violently as it does on the PS2 version.

    And btw is there a mod that brings back the voices of Cheryl, Harry and Lisa back?
